Car Park Works – 2022

The first week in September 2022 a gang of cheery chaps arrived with all kinds of interesting looking machinery that the children at Magic Box found fascinating.

And so it began:

Old surfaces disappeared & new ACO’s installed; attached to the drain system
New drain covers & an inspection chamber created for the drain from the Play Park
First layer spread, it was time to use the fancy machinery and start laying the tarmac

The car park now has a new surface, with a drainage designed to cope with winter downfalls.

Everyone is pleased with the finished result and the overall standard of the works to the car park

Our thanks go to the contractors.

They were so helpful and carried out the works with minimal disruption to hall, playpark and sports field users.

They also created ramps at the entrance into the hall and sports field, rehung the entrance gate so that it now opens downhill and filled in the potholes in the drive way.
