Wellow Village Hall is a charity, registered with the Charities Commission, registration number 1086926. Wellow Village Hall’s governing documents are – a Trust Deed, a Lease, a Rectification Deed.

Management of Wellow Village Hall

The Hall is run by the Wellow Village Hall Management Committee which is made up of elected members and/or appointed representatives of the various voluntary groups and societies within the community of Wellow. The current Committee is made up of the following members:

Bea Dowty – Chair & Secretary

Katie Millar – Treasurer

Vicky Hammerton – Bookings Secretary

Additional Committee members are :-

Alex Martin (Hort Soc), Jane Rees (St Julian’s Church), Sophie Hart, Michelle Owens and Sue Chivers

The Committee generally meets 4 times a year in the Hall. The meetings cover matters such as bookings, fund raising and social events, safety issues and general matters to do with the running of the village hall.

The Village Hall Committee endeavours to provide a well maintained community facility for the benefit of all within the Parish of Wellow and its wider environs.

Annual General Meetings

Annual General Meetings are held annually in Wellow Village Hall.
